Pagan Children

As the Pagan community becomes more widely accepted, Pagans are beginning to feel more comfortable and at ease with being open about their spirituality -with family, friends, neighbors, and their children. I am a mother of two little girls (ages 2 and 4). Thus being said, I am always trying to find cute and fun ways to enjoy living the Wiccan way with my daughters. Some open moon circles in my area allow children to attend so I'm definitely going to bring them along next time! The Pagan Pride Fest is coming up soon and again, I plan on taking the girls. I spend a lot of time outdoors with them, more so with my oldest. I explain to her the importance of the Earth on a daily basis. She helps me with the flowers and recycling. We pick up trash on the ground and I tell her why we do it. She helps daddy with his vegetable garden.
But lately, I have been thinking about taking it to the next level. Children begin CCD (for Christians) around first grade, I believe. Unfortunately, Pagans don't have this type of opportunity to introduce Wicca to the youth. I will start blogging about things I do with my daughters and new things I learn/read about!

Here is a list of children's Pagan books I have found: Click HERE.
